Strategy and Digital Marketing: Volume or Precision?
Digital marketing makes it easier than ever to generate more impressions, clicks, leads and outreach, but more activity does not necessarily create more profitable growth.
When strategic positioning is unclear, increasing marketing volume can simply amplify the underlying problem: attracting poor-fit prospects, creating longer sales cycles, increasing acquisition costs and placing further pressure on margins.
The alternative is precision. Leadership must first understand the value the business creates, who values it most, why those customers should choose it and who the business should deliberately avoid serving.
Only then should digital marketing amplify that position at scale.
Precision first. Volume second. Do not scale ambiguity.
Exporting Strategy: Are You Expanding Market Share or Exporting Structural Friction?
International expansion is an amplifier, not a remedy. If your enterprise suffers from fee discounting or scope creep domestically, entering new markets simply exports your structural friction into higher-cost territories.
